Terms of use
The rules for using Retip, in plain language. Last updated 4 November 2026.
What Retip is
Retip (retip.co.uk) is run by MyBreak Ltd (MyBreak). It's a free directory that helps players find somewhere to get a snooker or pool cue re-tipped. We don't re-tip cues ourselves. Any work you arrange is between you and the tipper.
Listings and prices
- Listings come from tippers themselves, or from public information. A listing marked "Not yet confirmed" hasn't been checked by the business yet.
- Details, prices and opening times can change. Estimates are worked out from a tipper's listed prices and are a guide only: the tipper confirms the final price.
- Check anything important with the tipper before you go. We do our best to keep listings right, but we can't promise they are.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry, we pass it on to the tipper. We can't promise they'll reply, or what they'll charge.
Reviews
- Only review a re-tip you've had yourself, and be honest.
- No abuse, personal information about other people, adverts or spam.
- We can remove reviews that break these rules.
For tippers
- Listing is free.
- Only list a business you run or have permission to list, and keep your details accurate.
- Keep your edit link to yourself: anyone with it can change your listing. If it gets into the wrong hands, ask us for a new one.
- We can edit, hide or remove a listing, for example if it's wrong or breaks these terms.
- You can pause your listing with your edit link, or ask us to remove it at hello@retip.co.uk.
Using the site fairly
Don't misuse the site: no spam, fake enquiries or reviews, copying the listings in bulk, or trying to break or overload it. We can block anyone who does.
Other websites
We link to other websites, such as tippers' own pages and shops selling tips. We're not responsible for them.
Our responsibility
Retip is provided as it is, free of charge. We're not responsible for the work tippers do, or for any loss from using information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as responsibility for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change this page and the date at the top. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
